Web 2.0 is simply the next generation of user interactivity, media rich and accessible web sites. Wikpedia puts it:
"The term Web 2.0 refers to a second generation of services available on the World Wide Web that lets people collaborate and share information online. In contrast to the first generation, Web 2.0 gives users an experience closer to desktop applications than the traditional static Web pages. Web 2.0 applications often use a combination of techniques devised in the late 1990s, including public web service APIs (dating from 1998), Ajaxweb syndication (1997). They often allow for mass publishing (web-based social software). The concept may include blogs and wikis."

Well it depends on your outlook! More and more people are becoming web-savvy and are getting to grips with RSS, Pod and Vot casts and even starting up their own blogs! However, it's always one thing to not take part in any of these trends, but then it's always another to overload your site with too much!
Think about how your site works, it's always nice to have a company blog and even employee blogs, but then is the need for Pod/Vod casts really there? Do you need to have your images posted on social sites (such as Flickr)? Does the user really want to know your favourite bookmarks that you publish (on sites such as del.icio.us )?
Don't worry, take a deep breathe and relax! I'm here to help. I will analyse your company's online needs, what you should publish online and the types of user interactions and media that would allow you to benefit from more customs. I don't believe in using a technology 'because I can', I believe using technology or methods for a purpose.
So now that you've got to grips understanding Web 2.0, To talk to me about your requirements, discuss a quote or ask for further advice and information, please contact Firestarter Media Group via the online form or email Firestarter Media Group on hello@firestartermedia.com.
